Looks like the Lab finally came down on the bonniebots No word on what exactly happened yet but looks like they are gone.

Last one of these on an alt I leave logged in somewhere:

Another regular bot disappeared same day:

This one was active yesterday:

Still have a few no profile looking survey bots coming in,.

What's a Bonnie Bot? I'm a bit out of the loop on this one. I'm anti bot in general, so I'm sure this was a good thing, but what did they do?

From what Inhave gathered, they seem to teleport to regions and do scans. Try would measure traffic, but also did statistics on usage for things. Like how many Lara vs Reborn vs Legacy bodies there were. And head brands or how many avatars had INM.

I don't think any of their tools surfaced avatar locations, but I would not be surprised if they didn't log who was where.

I think there was also some terrain data gathered, like elevation and probably abandoned vs owned land.

Fun fact - when you go into the appearance settings it turns on every spot at once so you can see it. I was nominated for an SL porn award for a picture that was fully clothed and used that trick.

Well the web site of BB is still up and running, but clearly shows no updates since mid of April.
