In the recent years, I've noticed multiple projects by independent animators on YouTube, typically produced by tiny teams of very talented people.

"Hazbin Hotel" is an example that made the jump to Amazon Prime, here's another one that looks quite nice:

Kid's show with Lovecraftian undertones. 😁

I've seen so many indie animation projects pop up on YouTube lately, and it's honestly impressive how much quality and creativity small teams can put out. Hazbin Hotel is a solid example of this trend, and it's inspiring to see creators go from YouTube to larger platforms. I'm always curious about what software these teams rely on for editing because tools that simplify the process, especially ones with features like automatic transitions and music choice, can make a huge difference when budgets and time are tight.

For anyone working on similar projects, something like this: 7 Best Auto Video Editors: Automatic Video Editing Is a Trend! could save a lot of time while keeping the focus on storytelling and animation. It's great for streamlining tedious parts of the workflow.

I really liked Umami's Interface. I think it's just one guy who decided to make a bunch of animations and then turned it all into a film and tossed it up on Youtube for anybody to watch for free. Gave me A Scanner Darky mixed with The Interface Series vibes. And the whole bit about cerebral electricity is bizarre combined with all it's super cryptic themes and strange animations. I won't lie, though. I'm not entirely sure I understand any of it. But I did enjoy the animation style, character voicing, and overall ambient mood of it all.

The new season of "My Little Pony" looks dark.

I'm a bit torn on this because polar bears are one of a handful of creatures that actively hunt humans. I actually can't think of any other predator that naturally sees us as food.

I have recently become a bit obsessed with The Amazing Digital Circus.

True, but if we hadn’t ruined their habitat, they’d mostly keep away from human settlements and happily much on seals
