Due to being done with Palworld I bought Dragonflight. This is my first new expansion with sub since 11 years. Reasons why are:
1. Blizzard finally changed their stance on in game flight again, which pushed me out of the game during WoD. I was really pissed about how they back then handled flight. Back then it was first "no flight for all any longer, because you're too dumb to appreciate our top notch world building where your ground mount will stop at every tree branch lying around" without telling before and during the launch to "you've got to work your ass off for being to fly instead of buying it later." In Dragonflight it changed to "Oh yeah, we got dragons, so here's your dragon for free, fly around with it right from the beginning" in GW2 style. The world has now been build around it, which sounds like fun and is what I wanted.
2. Many people I do know are actually quite happy with the expansion, telling it shows that Blizzard really wants to get back to the old strengths of the game. So you got for example the first real big overhaul of the crafting systems since 18 years, real skill trees back and much much more. And also first since a long time no OP weapon you will craft all over the expansion only for it to be begone in the next one.
Yummy. So I am curious about what it will bring to me.
