Govi retweeted this little quiz (20 questions). Obviously, it doesn't include a question on every policy in detail but, still fun.

I imagine there are other quizzes out (post them here if you like) and many might choose a candidate that they feel has a better chance in winning the presidency over one with who they agree with on policies, but still interesting.

(I got Warren, with Sanders close behind, not that it matters not being American, and also not being as informed with US/State realities.)

Not sure if I get a vote, not being American and being far away from the issues, but: Steyer (of whom I've never heard) on 13, Warren on 12, Buttigieg on 10 and Klobuchar, Bloomberg and Sanders on 9 each.

I took this the other day. Can't remember my exact breakdown, but Warren agreed with me the most, and Bernie was 2nd by 3 or 4 issues. Tom Steyer agreed with me on more issues than I expected, but not by much.

I probably shouldn't admit this here in PRS but …. Biden (16), Bennett (who? 16), Bloomberg (15), Sanders (5), Warren (3). A couple of the questions were a little too absolute, a bit like being asked which kneecap you want to have broken when you really want to answer neither, thank you very much.

Which is surprising considering that I consider myself more of a socialist than a democrat. Certain things shouldn't be run privately 'for profit'. Education, healthcare coverage, basic banking, the post office, social security, etc.

Where I differ significantly from Sanders is that I think college should be affordable, not free. I'm fine with more full rides made available for students that have proven their dedication to their education, but there needs to be some incentive for others to take it seriously or *many* won't and they'll just be a burden on the system and those trying trying to benefit from it legitimately.

Not that my personal preference is relevant to how I will actually vote, which is strictly based on who looks like he/she is most likely to get rid of Trump. That is after all the top issue for the majority of Dems, and it’s not even mentioned in the survey!

Warren and Sanders got 15. Gun buyers should have to register all firearms. Responsible gun owners should have no issues with this. America has a massive gun problem. Sanders loses to Warren on this issue for me. Biden and Bloomberg were both at 2, which is still better than Trump.

I know very little about some of these candidates, so I just answered the questions thinking of it in context of what I'd vote for in my own Country, Canada.

That happens to me at home too, the right hand side of the left leaning parties.
Mostly because the right leaning parties have so-con nutjobs peppered throughout, although in the past I probably would have described myself as the left hand side of the right wing parties.

PRISONS... FFS... total senior moment. I knew I was forgetting one.

Private prisons... what's that hair-club for men slogan "I'm not just the president, I'm a member!" ... people responsible for privatizing prisons should be LOCKED UP IN THEM.

I got Warren at 19. I guess she's my spirit politician... Sanders was next highest at 12.

Firewalled, but now that some people I liked are out of the race, I’d say Warren, followed closely by Sanders. If I could only choose a moderate, then Buttigieg. His inexperience would be countered somewhat by the fact he’s obviously the favorite of the DNC-connected and would not have a problem getting advisors or setting up a Cabinet.

This one made me laugh. Sanders ended up dead last on my list, with Warren not that far behind. I matched highest with Steyer and Bloomberg. Problem for me was that there was no weighting of the issues, many of which I either don't have strong opinions about or my opinion wasn't presented as an option. But in the final analysis, specific policy statements from the candidates are not my main criteria for selection. Experience, character, passion, and demeanor have weight as well.
