Say Mueller drags his feet and donnie makes it to the election. What will trumpites do? If he loses does anyone seriously think they would go 'well, okay then'? If he wins can you just imagine the uproar when he is impeached? What if nothing happens as a result of the investigation and bizarrely he survives his second term despite his diet, can you just imagine them as the 2024 elections draw nearer?

He's not going to last that long. Mueller has hit pause on indictments so as not to influence the mid-term elections. But he had already got as far as Trump's campaign manager and his personal "fixer", and both have agreed to cooperate. The only people left besides Trump himself is his family, and I expect them to be next, shortly after the election. Remember that Mueller's staff have experience with mobsters and money laundering. And they have been following standard procedure for those kinds of cases: follow the money and paper trail, and work up the chain of underlings, turning who you can to go up the next step in the ladder.

Outside of the investigation, the tariff war is starting to hit home. When Walmart and other companies complain they have to raise prices because of the "Trump Tax", how long will his base remain with him? Farmers are already turning because they can't sell their soybeans, or whatever. And you can bet Democrats are going to use price increases as campaign fodder.

And I would bet real money that Muller has a contingency plan if Chettolini sacks Rosenstien and Sessions, putting cronies in charge of the DOJ. He has run a tight ship with no leaks, but if he is sunk, expect him to pass on that important information to Congress and state and federal prosecutors one way or another.

Occasionally on Reddit, you see calls to stop the Right. Violently. Shit like having an uprising and throwing people out etc. This FEELS like it's coming from the same foreign influence that has been working the right, trying to get the left to want to revolt.

Which isn't likely to happen, because to be frank, most people on the left feel like they are fairly non violent/passivist.

On the other hand, the right doesn't feel this way. Now if this is some additional foreign tampering via social media etc, imagine how much more easily it will go over with the right, which, frankly, feels more prone to action violence etc.

I have some worry that in the long term, things could get really messy as this whole shit show starts to actually fall apart, because a lot of the supporters of it are actually mentally unstable in a lot of bad ways. They will never "give up" or "admit defeat", or anything, and outside influence, which has all ready corrupted them, will start corrupting towards violent mobilization.

The point of my question is to look at the extreme case. Hillary did not consider it and she lost.
