Have you discovered an awesome new channel on YouTube or Twitch or some other platform (Tik Tok, Facebook, whatever), and you can't stop binging it, and more people should know about it? Here's a thread for that.

The other day, I discovered this doctor on YouTube who goes by the name Chubbyemu. He explains various medical conditions. His videos are super well structured, and clearly well researched, but his delivery kind of reminds me of the old Unsolved Mysteries show, but a lot less cheesy. I love it. Here's a recent video to give you an idea of what it's like...

Let's get this man a million subscribers before Christmas so he buys that prehistoric tomb.

The owner of the channel "Early Music in a different Way" performs all musical instruments himself and often hillariously edits himself into pictures of historic sites or paintings.

Here he is performing the famous Battaglia "La Bataille" by Tylman Susato:

The US Chemical Safety Board has a YouTube channel where they post animated recreations of large-scale chemical industry accidents in the US that they have investigated, showing the causes leading up to each accident and ending with their reported recommendations. The recreations are fascinating to watch.

Some incidents they have videos for include the West, Texas fertilizer plant explosion, the Deepwater Horizon oil well blowout, and the chemical plant fire outside Houston during Hurricane Harvey.

ETA: the channel has been around for at least 13 years, so it's also fun to watch the advancement of the 3D software they use for their recreations over the years, lol

I posted this tweeted video in another thread:

Because it's hilarious - but on a more serious note, that guy is one of my absolute most favorite YouTubers of all time, Medhi Sadaghdar aka ElectroBOOM:

And although his schtick is being a klutz for humorous effect, he's actually a highly competent electrical engineer and his videos are fascinating, often quite funny, and always seriously informative. They range from basic electrical concepts to how certain types of devices work.

He also has a couple of great episodes where he debunks social media videos showing "free energy" devices (and similar things) by not only just building them and demonstrating that they don't actually work, he actually explains the science behind why they don't work, and then goes a step further by showing you how the claimants cheated to make the devices "appear" to work in their videos.
