We should NEVER have a police force, using that word despite them actually being Miller's personal army, anywhere in the world, that wears masks as they deal with the public. Period.

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

“Morale is in the dumpster,” he added.
In response, Tricia McLaughlin, Department of Homeland Security assistant secretary, said ICE and border patrol agents “get up every morning to try and make our communities safer.”

“The men and women of ICE and Border Patrol are fathers and mothers, sons and daughters,” McLaughlin said in a statement to The Independent. “Like everyone else, our officers just want to go home to our families at night. The violence and dehumanization of these men and women who are simply enforcing the law must stop.”

Republican Minnesota governor candidate ends race, citing ICE tactics

On Monday, the Minneapolis-based attorney Chris Madel made his announcement, saying in a video online: “I cannot support the … stated retribution on the citizens of our state, nor can I count myself a member of a party that would do so.”

“That’s unconstitutional and it’s wrong,” he said, calling ICE operations in the state an “unmitigated disaster”.

Explaining his decision to drop out of the gubernatorial race, Madel said: “At the end of the day, I have to look my daughters in the eye and tell them: ‘I believe I did what was right.’ And I am doing that today.”
