What is going on with that chyron? “Support for impeachment has declined “? “Adam Schiff isn’t sure about impeachment?” Sure, Republicans and trolls (is there a difference?) have been threatening it since day 1, before, even, but it’s not a thing in the real world, especially among Democrats. Well, maybe Tulsi Gabbard, but she doesn’t count any more than Tuckyo Rose, and for the same reason.
The narrative has received some pushback from journalists at Fox News itself, particularly Jennifer Griffin, the network’s national security correspondent, who has spent weeks painstakingly correcting her opinion-host colleagues as Russia surrounded Ukraine.
On Thursday morning, the anchors on the morning show Fox and Friends were opining about how sanctions against Russia “have not worked”. Steve Doocy asked Griffin if “the people at the Pentagon” were frustrated given American troops were not involved.
It's very noticeable, and really quite worrying, how out-of-step the US right-wing are with the rest of NATO, where centre-right and right-wing governments (including Poland and Hungary) are united in their support for Ukraine and their condemnation of the Russian invasion.“No I wouldn’t say that Steve. In fact they know that they had limited options going into this because Russia of course is a nuclear power, and Nato and the US are not go to war with Russia over Ukraine, their goal is to contain this and keep this from spilling over into an Article 5 nation,” Griffin said.
“You talk about how the sanctions haven’t worked, I don’t know that we can say that yet. Overnight, the stock market in Russia fell by half, 50%.
“This is just the beginning of what is being described as a ‘shock and awe,’ if you will, of rolling sanctions that have not even begun to be felt yet by Putin, by his oligarchs, by the cronies there.”
It is because, so many US 'conservatives' not to be confused with real actual conservatives, are owned by Putin. Sadly this includes most of the elected GQP.![]()

The US Republicans (and, I assume, their supporters) seem to live in their own Republican reality, completely divorced from the rest of the world, in which Canada is worse threat than Russia, and Trudeau is a far worse tyrant than Putin, global heating and Covid aren't really anything to worry about, racism doesn't exist, and Trump won the last election.
Cosplaying populist, OK, I'll give him that, but brilliant? Tuckums? Brilliant?Tucker Carlson: The Elite Pedigree of a Brilliant Cosplaying “Populist”

"Brilliant" is a strong word but he is undeniably a good manipulator... He knows he's full of shit but does have a sizable audience eating out of his hand. He's certainly smarter than his audience and certainly smarter than the outrageous lies he tells. That makes him worse in my view. He's much more evil than stupid.Cosplaying populist, OK, I'll give him that, but brilliant? Tuckums? Brilliant?![]()
Tuckyo Rose (Tuckums) having to watch that compilation nonstop:
Whoa, can we not infantilize Carlson? Gets too deep into creepy territory.Tuckums
