The Trump aligned new owners of TikTok, notably Larry Ellison, have taken over and are destroying the platform already.



They are suppressing videos about Trump, ICE, the killings in Minnesota and more. Their new TOS is terrifying. They are blocking the word Epstein:


Sadly fleeing to Instagram is not much better, as it is owned by Meta, though they do not seem to be doing much censorship for now.

I have an account on it and have tried it a bit. I like that it combines the short form video features of TikTok with the ability to post text like Twitter. However, right now on the Discover section it seems a lot of the posts are about Israel (not full anti but definitely not pro). I know it is Palestinian owned and I don't have issue with the posts, it just seems to not have very broad content yet. I think the lack of a web version will affect its growth since you can't easily share a link to someone who doesn't have the app. Hopefully they will add one.

Also their iPad app sucks.

Aside from censorship, I watched a short take video on YouTube last night from a content creator who said the video posting tools for TikTok simply aren't working anymore. From her description it sounds like there's been some domain-related change that has disrupted internal file path connections.

Yes, now every social network and all of the news networks are all Jewish owned. Ellison is especially odious, as is his son who owns Paramount (who is making a hostile bid for Warner Brothers against Netflix). We all know how things are going at Paramount owned CBS News.
