The war against AI is only heating up.. Record industry is Suing AI companies Like Udio and Suno. Who owns the music created by AI? Can you copy right it? Is it considered music if you didn't personally create it? what if i only wrote the lyrics? who get paid?

Would you listen to music generated by AI? would you be able to tell?

If AI music was just another fun little thing that people could play with, I wouldn't care about it.

But once again, greedy people ruin everything they touch. Spotify for example is full of bad AI slop music by fake "artists", and in some cases entire albums of slop have been deliberately misattributed to real artists and even placed on their band pages. Spotify itself for years has been hiring contractors to make low-effort muzak to inject into people's feeds, but there's some evidence to suggest that the company might have begun producing its own AI slop internally now that it can, to save even more money.

i just used chatgpt to make and tweak the lyrics then hop over to suno provide the lyrics and the genre i want and:

Yeah I heard about the latter.the idea is that like, you want some background music that probably is non specific. So basically, why pay some random Muzak artist royalties when you can just AI up your own.
