The Morning Show dropped on November 1 as part of the launch of Apple TV+. It stars Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carrell and Reese Witherspoon, and is about a Today Show-esque morning show reeling from one of the anchors being fired a la Matt Lauer over sexual misconduct. It actually makes several thinly veiled references to some of the details of Lauer's alleged behavior.
The show has had mixed reviews, but I've seen the first three episodes available and I absolutely loved it. It reminds me of Aaron Sorkin's The Newsroom in a lot of very positive ways. Great cast, strong acting and writing, and very timely subject matter. I will definitely watch the whole series - I'm sad it is going to be doled out weekly.
