Second Life is so much more than dressing up the Barbies and Kens.
It is about visiting beautiful places too.

Stay a while between the elephants of this vacation resort in Second Life.
Very photo-genetic. One can book a vacation there. Nice lodges. Lots to explore.

NL has several canal cities. Amsterdam of course is the most well known one. But there are more like Utrecht, Gouda, Delft and Haarlem to name a few.
Archangel967 created his own canal city in Second Life. It gives an impression of life somewhere pre 1900.
See some Dutch architecture with just one teleport.

I stumbled over a nice little place to hang out and have a coffee.
Latte Leaf Cafe @ Starlust Marina

very detailed with a lot of cozy seating spots to enjoy your coffee, check your phone or read your paper, while enjoying the nice views of the marina.

Just the place that a coffee lover like me needs in SL.

Fantasy Faire 2024: April 18 - May 5

The first region I visited on a Fantasy Faire ever. Very photogenic.
I think I have to find me a fantasy avatar to stay a bit more in theme.

I don't normally go out of my way to promote stuff, but i stumbled onto a sim called Conch island by accident. It seems to be a virtual Art and music festival Happening this month with the grand opening today. The Sim itself is beautiful both above and below the water. mermaid and Jurassic themed resort... Rides and Stores all over. i'll definitely be back to check it out in depth later.
