This picture was taken at my wedding in August.
My dress is Evita (tropical) by Gizza.
Kay and I wore matching jewelry, from L&B Jewelry, Celtic Promise.
The flowers in our hair are from Mirus.
The bouquets are Calla Lilly bridesmaid bouquets from Rebel Hope.
My hair is Megumu by Argrace.
I wear a Lara body, with the Hilde Champagne skin from The Skinnery.
We decided to get married in our bare feet, for a beach wedding.
ETA: I use The Skinnery Monarch eyeshadow. and my lipstick is Beurre Cranberry by [mock].
Here are two quick snaps of me working as a DJ at The Cellar Jazz Club, for their USO Event, where we (very lightly) RP a World War II era USO Club. I play classic swing - nothing after 1946. A lot of us like to wear period clothing, which can be tough to find in SL, to really immerse. Last night's show was part 1 of Tommy Dorsey: The Sinatra Years.
I am wearing
Dress: Meli Imako Retro Halter Dress with Belt and Flower
Hair: Marjory by Old Time Prims
Shoes: Kaia by KC
Jewelry: Classic Set by Baby Monkey, not available. This set is super primmy, but it is perfect for the time period.
Gloves: Bento gloves by L'Emporio These are a bit long for day gloves, but I could not find shorter Bento gloves.
I prefer to just stand on the floor and dance with everyone when I dj, as opposed to using a stage or DJ booth.
Kultivate magazine blog did a series of articles on how to replicate the most popularly used film camera lenses four different things like portraits or landscapes or long-distance close-ups. I think the author's name was Myra Wildemist. I'll find it when I'm at my computer, I'm in line at the grocery store right now. Anyways. It was a game-changer for me. That, and getting a computer that would render dof with any regularity.
