Show Your PBR Stuff

Now that PBR is in beta for Firestorm, we are close to broad release of PBR (since who the hell uses the SL viewer). I was trying it out today and it did something very cool to the windows in my house, so I thought I would make a thread to show some of what PBR can do:

I was trying my hand at making a pbr material using Materliaze, and then hand combined some of the maps in Photoshop. It did not go quite as planned. Distressed concrete looks like the surface of the moon:

It does have that weird kind of TRON pool of energy glow.

This is my favorite pbr material I've made so far - it is kind of a reflective glass tile:

I am loving the way stuff is looking with PBR now that I have really gotten into it. I am obsessed now with making materials lol.

Ok I am down an entire rabbit hole now. I decided to retile my pool and pool deck.

I made a ceramic tile for the pool walls and used the shiny material above for the pool floor:

Tonight I made a mosaic tile for the pool deck:

And the final result:

My pbr obsession continues. I have a pavement texture from Roost on the road outside my house that is nice, but again is blurry close up. I decided to repave the road.

This is the old texture and new material side by side:

Lovely! The reflections succeed in realism very nicely except... they are depicting objects that don't exist within the view.
