Nah, if you want your guitar wrecked, you need to fly United ;): United Breaks Guitars - Wikipedia
"$3,000, which was donated by United to the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz [...] It was later revealed that Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz was, at the time, chaired largely by United executives and used United Airlines exclusively for its corporate travel."

Sweet. :(

As a musician, I don't understand why he didn't have such a valuable guitar in a road case.
Often musicians ship them to they're destinations with companies that socialist-owned in handling instruments and delicate gear.

Note to self: always double check the predictive text, especially on stifling hot humid days.
That was supposed to read "companies that specialize". 🤣🙃

Socialists are renowned for their baggage handling skills, and for excellent cartage and drayage in general.
This is exactly the kind of unthinking, pro-socialists claptrap I have come to expect from VV1. Historically, socialist have been wildly inefficient at moving items of any kind. There is a reason why the amount of material moving on the Ohio River has decreased, and it is the socialistic freight companies that came to dominate Cincinnati under the extreme left wing administration of Ted Strickland. Looking further back, Eugene Debs was infamous for always being late to speaking engagements because of his inherit difficulties in toting his bags and was never fully able to keep his dirty and clean clothes separated.

Woody Guthrie's guitar was never late nor early. It always arrived at precisely the right time.

I'd seen something about that. I don't buy much ice cream but my impression is that most of the stuff we buy in the freezer section of the supermarket comes in pots and cartons with sealed plastic film over the top, so that sort of tampering would be obvious.

Don't you have something like that? How do they stop people from swiping a spoonful or two of ice cream, as they might browse on some grapes in the fruit section (which some people always do, even though they know they shouldn't)?

Much of the ice cream sold in stores here - most of the mass-produced stuff - are in fact sealed with plastic tamper seals. Some manufacturers, like Blue Bell, have chosen to not go that route. In the case of Blue Bell, the ice cream itself becomes the tamper indicator, making it at least somewhat obvious that the lid had been lifted. They're not foolproof, however, and despite my admiration for these companies for being environmentally conscious, seeing an intact plastic seal around my ice cream gives me more assurance that the product hadn't been tampered with.

Their process was described by the company. It's interesting and makes a plastic tamper seal redundant. The ice cream tubs are inverted and the icecream is frozen against the lid in a 'hardening room' , meaning that any attempt to open the lid while the content is still frozen necessarily damages the cardboard lid.

Worth noting that the contaminated tub was not sold, possibly because people noticed that the lid had been damaged?
