I got it on two alts. Reported both.

I'm kind of offended by "Fly to unlimited heights." That's my frigging schtick, bozo. You gonna sell me my own script?

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FLY TO UNLIMITED HEIGHTS:

According to NeoBokrug, the URL on those spam messages leads to, or at least originally led to, a trojan download...

Teeeechnically you can build on no build land if you can build elsewhere in the same region, but you have to make sure the anchor point is inside the area you can build.

I have done this with driveways a few times to connect to mainland roads, and once had a bridge over a mainland road.

I veleive that its returnable though by the land owner you are encroaching on.

Yes encroachments are, at least, manually returnable but I don't remember if they're returned by the automated object timer or not.

Way back when I had my first plot of land, my neighbor built so a corner was sticking over in my side. I didn't worry much about it until I learned about prim count. Then when I informed him he was encroaching and "please remove your objects", he got all testy with me. So I simply returned everything on my side and blocked him both in chat and from my property. I'm so glad LL kept improving land tools from the first days.

You can just move it in from buildable land if the no-build land isn't set to return. I built a whole island in a Linden sea that way and it lasted months.

You didn't used to be able to return encroachments unless the root prim was on your land. We had a neighbor who kept encroaching and we had to get a Linden to return their stuff. But at least it didn't impact our prim quota because that all gets applied to wherever the root prim is.

I have an alt that I use sometimes to squat, not really to be rude, but more just mornid curiosity of how long it can last.

I make a note anytime I find buildable land with zero return. I had one skybox that lasted about 6 months once.

It's gotten harder to get there since they nerfed llPushObject().
Ok, I manually flew up to 100k+.

It took a bit.

It's weird how everything gets glitchy that high, I honestly can't really think of what causes this from a programming perspective. You would think the height is basically just a number, and there isn't anything else in range to display so everything should be fine.

It's also weird because even though everything is a mesh attachment, it seemed to affect my clothing first, then my shows and body and never really my hair. (Body is glitchy too even though this snap doesn't really show it).

I am really tempted to put something on the E key before I go away to go to bed here.

The height is a floating point number, so the resolution of the "z" coordinate gets lower and lower as "z" gets bigger and bigger.

Yeah I got this thing too as an IM. Didnt click the link, of course, but I was very curious. Access to free lindens is quite the claim. And yep Argent I thought of you re unlimited heights. I mean, the cheek! (Picture Kenneth Williams' shocked face here). I googled it independently and it seemed to lead to pages advertising another open grid. Noped out fast.
