You never encountered a swimming crab before? They're found in fish shops and supermarkets everywhere. Blue crabs are harvested all along the eastern and southern coasts of the US.

Also, like crabs themselves, there seem to be multiple groups of crabs that have this adaptation. What do we call this, swimmerization? Metacarcinization?
