Sounds like you might be wiser than a few of the others who joined recently... We sometimes get brand new people who don't bother to introduce themselves, but will just jump right into the most hotly contested topics/debates without a clue then wonder why they aren't welcomed! lol.

I'm actually not talking about her. I'm thinking of a few people who never bothered introducing themselves and dove right into the Israel Palestine stuff or other contested threads and started attacking people.

She made an excellent case study in bullies in a manic phase. Pulled out all the stops and announced intent early on.

Thanks. I've learned that jumping into any community and trying to debate even trivial topics will go badly if somebody doesn't understand the written rules, unwritten rules, and the overall culture of what is and what is not acceptable. Like it's important not to see blue, assume it's water, and jump right off a cliff. Cause it might not be water down there. It could be concrete somebody painted blue for fun. Or that's how my thinking on it goes.
