Tickets are now on sale for the first event in the series ($4.99 at the Early Bird rate, $9.99 after December 5), which takes place Monday, December 10, at 7:30 PM PT, and features stand-up and storytelling from Hofstetter himself, alongside top talents like Ben Gleib, Maz Jobrani, Alonzo Bodden, and Mary Lynn Rajskub.
That's a steep starting price for a platform that has a traffic rate of about 25 people a day.

The idea is actually rather intriguing, and it's the most concrete example of a decent use case I've seen so far, but there hasn't been much ramp up to build that type of audience.

I'd pay to see good stand up comedians in VR, even with my dodgy internet connection and Sansars very long loading times.
BUT of course only British comedy is good ;)
