Rather than assuming that Trump had actually been struck by the virus, which has infected more than 7 million people in the United States, QAnon believers have asserted online — yet again — that Trump has really been busy carrying out a key element of the conspiracy: mass arrests of Trump’s political enemies. Or, as Q adherents call it, “the storm.”
“Deep down [they] know this is their biggest nightmare come true,” wrote one QAnon-oriented Twitter account on Friday. “He isn’t sick, he is about to unleash the greatest military operation in the history of mankind.”
Basically they fired him because he was making money from the site, but hadn't disclosed that "compensation" to them. Righteous. Another "eh" to this:Citigroup Inc. terminated a manager in its technology department following an investigation into his role as the operator of the most prominent website dedicated to the QAnon conspiracy theory.
Jason Gelinas had been placed on paid leave after he was identified on Sept. 10 by the fact-checking site Logically.ai as the operator of the website QMap.pub and its associated mobile apps.
“Mr. Gelinas is no longer employed by Citi,” the company said in a statement. “Our code of conduct includes specific policies that employees are required to adhere to, and when breaches are identified, the firm takes action.”
Since Gelinas was identified, the QMap.pub website has been shut down and now provides links to an alternative website offering information on the QAnon conspiracy.
Nope. There is speculation that tomorrow (Wednesday's) US Intelligence Heads press conference might be to out "Q" as a foreign actor. Apparently, tons and tons of their accounts on Facebook were shut down tonight.
Or it could be an announcement that they are arresting Hillary and immediately deputizing all Proud Boys as CIA agents. I mean, 2020, right?
First time in my life I was ever let down by the capture of terrorists.Nope.
One tweet, which was liked nearly 1,000 times, linked to an announcement by the Justice Department of a news conference Wednesday morning on a matter of “national security.” The tweet claimed the Justice Department was preparing charges against a number of senior Democrats, including Hillary Clinton.
Similar tweets by QAnon believers said the news conference would have even bigger news, including an appearance by Mr. Trump to announce that he had arrested hundreds of members of a shadowy group that QAnon believers falsely claim are secretly running a satanic cabal. Many of those tweets were also shared and liked hundreds of times.
The Justice Department’s news conference on Wednesday detailed the investigation and arrest of several members of the Islamic State terrorist organization. There was no mention of the satanic cabal that QAnon followers claim Mr. Trump is battling.
The Creepy Trump Meme Taking Over TwitterAnd though filling up Trump’s Twitter replies with hexes may have been meant as dark internet ribbing, some people have taken the hexes seriously. The internet personality and prominent QAnon conspiracy theorist Samantha Marika told her 230,000 Twitter followers that these “satanic comments” were evidence of a “spiritual war.” Other pro-Trump Twitter users are trying to banish the demons in the replies—exorcism by all-caps tweet (“WE REBUKE THIS DEMON. AMEN FATHER ”). Even on 4chan, the longtime home of internet hoaxes and pranks ranging from unsettling to dangerous, a thread on the politics board /pol/ demands an explanation of what’s going on. The top reply is “Trump is literally battling satanists, reply Jesus is King to ruin their death spell,” so more than a hundred of the comments are just “Jesus is King.”
Oh that won't get some random brown people hurt, no way for sure.Stan culture, which apparently lives on Tic-toc or somewhere, has taken to hexing Donald J Trump by sending him weird memes with curses in Punjabi and Amharic because, well, why wouldn't you?
This, of course, has promptly entered the Q-Anon mythos

Fortunately she is running in one of the most Democratic districts in the South, and has no chance to win. Georgia's 5th congressional district goes 15-25% Republican when they bother to run a candidate. Often they don't even try. The Democrat on the ballot is in the State Senate, and also chair of the state Democratic Party, so pretty well respected.
Trump ally running for Congress believes in baseless QAnon sex-trafficking conspiracy
Angela Stanton King, who is working to help the president win Black voters, confirmed her views to the Guardianwww.theguardian.com
President Trump denied knowing about the conspiracy theory QAnon — days after tweeting out a discredited claim by the group that President Barack Obama had staged the killing of Osama bin Laden.
“I just don’t know about QAnon,” Mr. Trump said when the moderator, Savannah Guthrie, pressed him on his tweet and explained that the far-right believers of the conspiracy baselessly claim Democrats are a satanic cult that practices pedophilia.
“Can you just once and for all state that is completely not true and disavow QAnon in its entirety?” Ms. Guthrie asked.
“I do know they are very much against pedophilia, they fight it very hard,” Mr. Trump said.
Ms. Guthrie pressed him, asking him to respond to Senator Ben Sasse, a Nebraska Republican, who said that “QAnon is nuts.”
Mr. Trump responded, “I just don’t know about QAnon.”
“You do know,” she shot back, noting she had explained the group to him.
“I don’t know,” he said again.
Mr. Trump shrugged off his retweet of the bin Laden conspiracy theory — “I put it out there,” was how he framed it, prompting Ms. Guthrie to declare, “You’re not someone’s crazy uncle who can retweet whatever.”
A few minutes earlier Ms. Guthrie asked him to denounce white supremacy — after he equivocated on his answer to that question in his debate with Joseph R. Biden Jr. last month.
“I denounced white supremacy for years but you always do it, you always start off with the question, you didn’t ask Joe Biden whether or not he denounces antifa,” Mr. Trump responded.
“This is a little bit of a dodge,” Ms. Guthrie replied.
