Oculus Quest Review - No PC? No Problem

Standalone VR feels right with Oculus Quest, for the most part. It's not a graphical powerhouse, but with built-in 6DOF tracking and hardware, it delivers where it matters most.

So they managed to put the hardware needed to run the device in the device itself, and it's not more expensive than a gaming console. This is indeed an impressive feat, and might finally mean commercial success for it in the long run.

But since it cries closed ecosystem to me, I doubt we'll see Sansar soon on it.

I was going to wait a few weeks on it but was able to save enough to get it and put it up for pre-order a few days ago. Got an email from Amazon that the Oculus Quest has been confirmed for release date delivery so it should be shipping soon.

I saw that there are Oculus Quest in-ear headphones coming soon.

• Separate headphones and 3.5mm plugs for each ear.
• Custom length to avoid snagging.

Don't know why they didn't have it ready for launch.
