Nvidia and Siemens are working together on an industrial metaverse.

Siemens, a leader in industrial automation and software, infrastructure, building technology and transportation and NVIDIA, a pioneer in accelerated graphics and artificial intelligence (AI), today announced an expansion of their partnership to enable the industrial metaverse and increase use of AI-driven digital twin technology that will help bring industrial automation to a new level.

Not actually a metaverse but sharing CAD models sounds pretty useful even if calling the models "digital twins" is a bit twee.

Is Blender going to need to support the Solidworks assembly and parts formats?

It would be neat if they came with some sort of script/software that just comnected to the real equipment, then you could drop them into some framework for AR and it would just ahow up, looking like its counterpart.

Hell that may be what they are doing.

But like, you could add many to one space.
