I'm watching some old cereal commercials from like the 80's and earlier, and it's kind of funny to me how self-conscious and defensive the (relatively) healthier cereals are. Like it seems a very common theme for their ads is some variation of "your kids will definitely love this bland and boring cereal, we promise".
