They should at least get punched in the face.
Princess BrideThe Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was on tv tonight (the one with Daniel Craig) and although I've seen all the movies and read the books at least once, and despite it being dubbed, I still watched it! I think I'm still obsessed with Lisbeth. I wish they had continued the second set of series.
Are there movies which didn't pursue a series that any of you wished had continued?
I was never invested in it but I want to say the Docergent series did like, 3 of the 4 books, before they just stopepd. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was on tv tonight (the one with Daniel Craig) and although I've seen all the movies and read the books at least once, and despite it being dubbed, I still watched it! The book itself has more "stuff", so maybe some TV movie for those that want it (and can find it) that is easily overlooked and avoided by others who don't want it.Princess Bride absolutely does not need a sequel. It is complete of itself.
The book the book's a parody of has even more stuff. Like the hats. But either way that's not a sequel like Buttercup's Baby would have been (thank whoever they never made that). The book itself has more "stuff", so maybe some TV movie for those that want it (and can find it) that is easily overlooked and avoided by others who don't want it.
I don't know, we'd have to ask the DM....GRRMThe only real question is, how does the oath worth when taking the black, if you didn't know you had that heritage to start with?
Yeah but, I want an answer before I die of old age.I don't know, we'd have to ask the DM....GRRM
I have always believed that the reason GoT is the way it is, is because it is derived from a D&D campaign GRRM had tons of background material just sitting around.....and that GRRM is a killer DM.
Or before GRRM dies.Yeah but, I want an answer before I die of old age.
Ha! I bet everyone regrets naming their daughters and SL avatars Khaleesi/Daenerys/Dany now! Also I find the D&D analogy amusing since since everyone referrs to the show runners as D&D (David Benioff and D. B. Weiss) and they ran GOT into the ground and ruined it.
That makes so much sense, he's the spitting image of every other "killer DM" I've ever met.I have always believed that the reason GoT is the way it is, is because it is derived from a D&D campaign GRRM had tons of background material just sitting around.....and that GRRM is a killer DM.
I felt the same. HBO's serialization 'His Dark Materials' doesn't seem to have the same concern though, and I'm enjoying it far more than the movie, despite some departures from the books. The third and presumably final season is scheduled to be released late this year. One was also disappointed with was the Golen Compass movie, which I am convinced was purposely sabotaged to fail to stop it from being made by Christians angry about the material.
