Pommes Anna are yummy but I wouldn't make them mini, the yumminess is in the contrast of texture and the impressive size when it's turned out of the dish!

The Pommes Anna part I get, but the mini part...why?

I checked out a couple recipes and it looks like you drop 3-4 slices for each one. Seems like a lot of extra work for no extra benefit. Unless you hate the cleanup required for the serving utensils.

And, do I put these on crackers, or what? :hellokitty:

Because cute food and individual portions = trendy? Otherwise it's a mystery to me too, like mini meat loaves.or mini quiche.

I learned last night that whipping a hard boiled egg at the ground as hard as you can to the floor is supremely satisfying.

I've made hundreds of them before but the ones I made last night just did NOT wany to peel nicely so one had to be taken out, they peeled much easier after that.

Yet this always seems to happen when I cook with love for others! "Oh ________ will like this!"*30 mins of wtf*

Oh and my eggs had no green gross like most others do. *Smuggly buffs nails*

I made calzone last weekend! ^_^ The crust was admittedly a little thick, as I don't have space in the kitchen to roll it out properly, but it was damned tasty regardless. =:9

I cheated a little with pre-made dough, but other than that, all my own fair paws' work. ^_^ Filled with chicken breast marinated in lemon juice & Malayian black pepper, smoked bacon, thickly sliced brown Paris mushrooms, and some finely chopped onion, plus a home-made passata of Italian chopped tomatoes, garlic, oregano, basil, rosemary, pepper, and probably another herb or two. =:) And fresh mozzarella, of course. Baked at around 160C for.. think it was about 30 mins, turning around a couple times.

That looks like it must be dried bacon flakes. Now if they can make one with a little oven in it I'll be impressed.

I'd just like to say that there are few things food-wise more satisfying than dill pickle cubes in your tuna salad.
