I went to the local NJ restaurant. They had added taco salad to the menu. I ordered it. The waitress looked a little worried. She said afterwards, only one other person had ordered it. She was asking if I wanted ranch or other salad dressings with it. They clearly don't know what a taco salad is. No chips or tortilla shell but it had french fries on top. Whatever it is, it's pretty tasty anyway.

Looks like a sort of chef's salad with heavily-seasoned fries on top. Doesn't look half bad, but I don't know how anyone can confuse that with a taco salad.

There is no gas station wine in NJ. Wine has to be bought at the liquor store. My memories of bad wine are that boxed junk a friend of mine bought from Fred Meyer when I lived in Oregon.
