Yep there's another NMS update, and again Hello Games makes the game less annoying.
Trust me, it is a whole different game than it was at launch. Basically item stacks are MUCH larger in inventory, and you won't be recharging things as much, and there's available suit/ship/tool upgrades that help too. The ability to craft built in suit refiner for one and to craft a trading terminal for your base. It is to your advantage to visit the Anomaly as soon as you can with Nanites to spend.
It's actually worth paying for, IMHO. Don't pay full price though, because physical copies are still seriously discounted.
