This interview is a bit fuzzy on the issues.

Ah there, she unfuzzed herself.

ETA: Live stream plagued with technical issues. She is using OBS studio and doesn't know how to get audio from her guests into the stream.
Yeah, it must be the hedge fund hackers trying to stop her! LOL

Seriously, though, I love AOC, but this is a prime example of why live theater or live music is such an important part of education. Any theater person or musician would see the camera fuzziness and maybe fiddle for 5 or 10 seconds and move on. Just go with what you got. The show must go on! When audio routing fails, call the guest on the cell phone and use the speaker phone. It's not optimal, but this is twitch, not network TV. Nobody expects everybody to have a full tech crew.

She hit 370K or more shortly after she started, so she had a massive audience. For perspective, all League of Legends streamers, put togehter, have 200k right now, and that's the second biggest category on twitch right now, behind Just Chatting category, which is at 600k, and AOC is half of the viewers in that category! It's just frustrating to see her blow such a massive audience on OBS issues.

I bet she learns from this and is better next time she does a live stream.

EDIT: Finally back! Her audience dropped to 53k, though!

She is really getting under their skin.

Hard core conservative Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) is being accused of threatening Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after he sent Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi a letter promising to find "alternative means" to condemn remarks the New York Congresswoman made about his fellow Texas Republican, Senator Ted Cruz.

“If Representative Ocasio-Cortez does not apologize immediately, we will be forced to find alternative means to condemn this regrettable statement," Congressman Roy said in his letter.

Maybe Mr Roy should worry more about the elements in his party threatening to execute Pelosi, who helped to attempt to murder members of Congress, who incited people to invade the capitol, who refuse to wear their masks, who... telling someone you don't want their help because they tried to get you murdered isn't anywhere near the same.

Of course, you know, violent rhetoric on both sides, right? /s

AOC hit the nail on the head with her description of the insurrection but the death threats appear to have been going on for a long time. How is this allowed?

Ocasio-Cortez had good reason to be frightened. One of the men who stormed the Capitol has been arrested for threatening to assassinate her. The social media posts of a great many of the rioters show that they were out for blood on January 6, and that they're not done -- next time, many of them have said, they'll bring guns.

Well before the riot, her office was fielding a huge number of death threats, and her staffers reportedly "stiffen" when someone unexpectedly knocks on her office door.

But it's not only physical violence Ocasio-Cortez has had to deal with since she won office in 2018. Conservative politicians and right-wing media made her a prime target of angry and often shockingly sexist rhetoric. One of Ocasio-Cortez's own colleagues, Rep. Ted Yoho, reportedly called her a misogynist slur to her face.
Also I agree with her 100% when it come so "forgiveness" and "unity".

In her Instagram Live, Ocasio-Cortez also disclosed that she's a survivor of sexual assault. She didn't mention it simply for disclosure's sake, but to make the connection between how many Republicans are treating the assault on the Capitol and how so many people treat assaults on women's bodies. "The reason I say this and the reason I'm getting emotional in this moment is because these folks who tell us to move on, that it's not a big deal, that we should forget what's happened, or even telling us to apologize -- these are the same tactics of abusers," she said.

She's certainly managed to get under Tucker Carlson's skin. I think she must probably once have turned him down for a date, and he's still not forgiven her.

He's calling her "openly racist" in a rant that all but screams "Great Replacement"?
And look who's calling who "low IQ"(also a racist dog whistle),
She sure lives rent free in his head, doesn't she?
The smackdown in this one should be good.

I suspect any "debate" well happen in the media. But more smackdown material to come from this, for sure.
The "Green New Deal" is moot now. Elements of it have been incorporated into several Biden administration bills. MTG needs to get up to speed. Congress takes broad ideas and repackages them into specific legislation, because "the government" can't implement stuff. Agencies do, once the legislation and budgets tell them to and provide the money to do it with. So there would be no point to her debate.

What possible point is there in debating anything with a Q-Anon supporting crackpot who thinks forest fires are caused by Jewish space lasers?
