Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) is calling out Fox News over what she described as unequal news coverage, saying the network essentially ignored the recent public behavior scandal of GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert.
Ocasio-Cortez was asked by a follower to share her thoughts on the controversy after the Colorado lawmaker was escorted out of a theater in Denver for “causing a disturbance,” vaping and singing along during a live performance of “Beetlejuice.” A separate video emerged last Friday that also showed Boebert touching her date inappropriately in the theater.
“All I gotta say is I can’t go out to lunch in Florida in my free time, not doing anything, just eating outside and it’s wall-to-wall Fox News coverage,” Ocasio-Cortez said on Instagram in a video later reuploaded to TikTok. “And then you have a member of Congress engaging in sexually lewd acts in a public theate,r and they got nothing to say.”

Second, hormone blockers delay puberty. They don't 'sterilize'. Literally for fucks sake, it's like these people fell out of the stupid tree and failed to miss a single branch.
I think it's a matter of negative partisanship. That is, you're aligning your supporters around the proposition "we want to keep the other lot out because of the harm they'll cause if they win" rather than "vote for us because we'll do good things." Obviously campaigns need to combine both elements, but something like this is a rather lame attempt to counter the Democrats' effective negative campaigning around the Republican threat to reproductive rights, around Project 2025 generally, and simply "MAGA are weird" and all that implies. This is what happens when you see reality through the lens of a Crayola crayon.
