Maitreya has just released a Flat Chest Add-On for the Lara body. I'm not familiar with what's been going on with V-Tech recently which I know has been the flat chest of choice. Maybe Maitreya's been shocked into more action by the 'Legacy' brand's recent incursion into their market share.

There's also a Version 5.3 update messing about with neck sizes and neck seams.

I am not sure it will get enough support. We'll have to see how many niche designers will bother to support yet another chest option.

As an aside it would be nice if there were more butch clothing options from designers of women's clothing for Brazen Women like yourself.

Apparently we're just too small a market for the fashion designers, and I do understand that the ROI just doesn't work out for them.

Also, because of the deep divide between men and women's fashions in SL, a substantial percentage of butch women have opted for a male avatar as the best solution. So they've effectively left the women's fashion market entirely, which shrinks the pool even more. I've considered that option as well -- it would certainly make my SL much easier to navigate in terms of mesh bodies, skins and clothing -- but it just never felt quite right to me. Which leaves me in that middle ground where I have to work that much harder to pull everything together.

I always have problems with it when it comes to shopping for beards.

I just get them jeans and a t-shirt. ;)

The Maitreya Petite actually works quite well for a realistic D cup if you push it out to 100. I hope it is supported.

Gonna have to bump this, as I'm tinkering on the alt with this chest, are there t-shirts out there? I'm not hitting much looking.

With the ability to BOM and Alpha, you might try some Male Tee. Even just old-er style "Fitmesh" and "Rigged" not designed for a particular body.

I suppose that may lead to other issues though like too large or too broad shoulders.

I'm pretty sure there are quite a few shirts specifically made for lara body flat if you search for that in marketplace.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was linked to femboys. There's a market. Not that I'm discounting other valid reasons like women giving the eye-roll to overdone proportions or wanting to wear men's shirts (pockets are HANDY).

I used the flat for a while (and yes, it's almost entirely femboys that use it). Some options for clothing - Krankhaus, Two Sided, Arti's Fashion, Valentine/VTech (they make for the VTech chest only but you can use Vtech clothes with the "adapted" version of the chest that comes in the box from maitreya). Also Mug, Dolly Daydream, CL Blue, Pixicat, Insanya.

Mostly though, I found it just as effective to wear normal Maitreya clothes and dial the breast size down to around 10 (less than that it goes concave), and use the flat chest mod only for swimwear, tanktops and going topless.

And then I solved the problam for good by growing boobs. :ROFLMAO:

the Problem with Flat is that Vtech boi was there before... regular vtech fitted tshirts might work however (fishnet and other see through shirts maybe less)

You could try this for example

V-tech clothes tend not to fit well on maitreya's own version of the flat chest. However, they include in the pack another one called "augmented" - this is a slightly different shape and is made to fit with (most) v-tech clothes. Though personally, I prefer V-tech over the Maitreya flat anyway, its a much nicer shape.

Another option is Natasha from Lucybody. This body is BOM only and doesnt have many features but it fits reasonably well with both maitreya Flat and V-Tech clothes, as it's slightly slimmer than both. At L$500, Its also cheaper than the Maitreya mod. They also have Vania which is nearly-flat, and fits Petite clothes when you dial back the breast size to zero. Out of all the flat options, Maitreya, V-tech or otherwise, Vania is my favourite.
