Maitreya developer kit - how to get it?

Hi
my partner has started to create again over the last year - has a store, makes original mesh. He'd love to be able to make clothing & shoes for the Maitreya mesh body. He has applied a few times to the maitreya team via their web site but gets nothing back from them. Any tips on how to get a developer kit ?

Maitreya handpicks the creators which will get access to their developer kit - if you get selected, you've got to sign a contract with real name before getting access to it. It is well known that not every applicant is being selected.

So no reaction means that you're out of luck here, there is no other way to get official the dev kit and Maitreya is not legally bound to grant everybody acccess to it.

There seems to be also some "open" version of the devkit around, which some creators do use as substitute when not being granted access to the real deal. This version though does not cover petite, and also might be not always accurate enough.

Alternately, pick a lesser known one and you’ll have an oven baked customer base who go wild on any new clothes for their niche body.

Also something about a new Kemono body version coming out. That has a fanatical fan base.

Depending on the source, Reborn has pulled ahead of Kupra or Kupra and Legacy.

Kupra (regular) = 5.1 %
Belleza GenX Classic = 3.3 %

In other words, I'd say Maitreya, Legacy, and Reborn instead of Kupra.

If you followed Blueberry's survey from 2018, you'd have wanted access to Maitreya, Slink Hourglass, & Belleza Freya:

Maitreya - 82.1% ((on bot I have access to: 2023: 32%))
Slink Hourglass - 20.2% (Creator left SL, body can still be worn, but not acquired) ((on bot I have access to: 2023: 0.8%)
Belleza Freya - 18.4% (still available but creator has moved to GenX bodies) (2023: 1.5%)
Belleza Isis - 11% (I don't think this is buyable any longer) (2023: 0.3%)

No idea what may or may not fit the latest Kalhene (by N Core) body but given that they essentially dropped the previous bodies (Anya, Ariadna, Alexa, Analexa not long after introduced) it may not be worth learning the new body Erika.
