It's more than I thought it would be. I'll pass, though. I'm no good at marketing, time commitments, or structured anything.

Isn't that about three bucks an hour on the high end?
Hi Casey,
I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to take a moment to address something that’s been on my mind regarding your responses on the forum. Your input often carries a tone of negativity that feels counterproductive to fostering a supportive and constructive environment. I’m curious—what motivates this approach? Constructive dialogue can be a powerful tool for collaboration and growth, and I’d love to understand your perspective better.
On the topic of the marketing ad, I believe it’s important to recognize that this role isn’t meant to be a full-time position. Like many opportunities, the results will ultimately depend on the effort and energy one is willing to invest. I encourage you to consider the potential it offers for those who approach it with focus and dedication.
I value your involvement and hope we can work together to create a more positive and effective exchange of ideas moving forward.
Looking forward to your thoughts.
Best regards,
Draven Malakai

Oh, that's because I'm a cynical, gleefully sarcastic bitch in general. Thanks for asking.

I'm glad we could have this positive and effective exchange of ideas and look forward to further running it up the flagpole, outreaching, touching base, conferencing, and, perhaps, generating actionable insights; or, maybe just putting a pin in it and kicking the can down the road before we move the needle.

Sounds like the "potential" is three bucks an hour, part-time or not.

Hi Casey,
Thank you for your candid response—your self-awareness is both refreshing and appreciated. While I understand that sarcasm can sometimes lighten the mood or add personality to discussions, I believe we could benefit from steering the conversation toward a more constructive tone.
Collaboration and open dialogue are most effective when we focus on actionable solutions and mutual respect. I’d love to hear more of your thoughts on how we can improve or better support each other in this context. Your insights, even when delivered with a touch of cynicism, hold value, and I’d like to ensure they contribute to a productive exchange.
Regarding your comment on the marketing role, I understand that perceptions of opportunity can vary depending on expectations and context. If there are specific concerns you think need addressing, please feel free to share—I’m open to constructive feedback that could help clarify or improve how opportunities are presented.
Looking forward to your thoughts.
Best regards,
Draven Malakai

Ewww! Is it just me or does it smell like corporate all up in here?
Haha, fair observation! While it might have a hint of "corporate," the goal here is to foster collaboration and share ideas that help us all succeed. If there’s a better way to approach things or if you’ve got ideas to shake things up, I’m all ears. Let’s make this space work for everyone!

If "Draven Malakai" isn't a marketing bot, then he should be. Although, to be fair, AI probably has a better sense of humor. As roleplay, however, it's absolutely stellar.
Hi Beebo,
I assure you, I’m all human – no marketing bot or AI in sight! Though, I’ll admit, a sense of humor might be an area where I could take some tips from our digital friends. 😄
As for the "corporate" vibes, I can understand where you’re coming from, but I do my best to keep things engaging and authentic. After all, roleplay is about immersing in a world that feels real, right?
Thanks for the compliment on the roleplay, though – I’ll take that as a win! If you ever want to swing by Swiftwater City and see it in action, you're more than welcome!
Cheers,
Draven Malakai

Not quite so fast there, Draven.

Here's the thing with role-playing, it needs to be consensual. So slipping into a role when you're in a designated RP zone is expected and great performances are applauded. Playing that part on a forum where you're a complete stranger and none of us are entirely sure of your motives... well, that's a different kettle of fish. You risk coming off false and deceptive.

Your unrelenting heartiness and utter tone-deafness as to your audience (our established forum members) is not a fatal mistake, but it's not the smoothest introduction either. Take it down a notch and you'll do better.
