Back in the day I created a giant full perm pine tree for the Second Life Arbor Project, which provided the trees gratis to block unsightly floating add lots. If LL hasn't banned the trees, contact me and I'll pass one along if needed.

I don't rent them out, I use them for self promotion. It's my extra tier. I have like 6 homes and I still have extra tier to flip micro parcels. When I get tired of them, I'll sell them for $500 L a piece.

It gets even better, those 16 sqm parcels are all gone now, bought up by greedy land flippers who will try and sell them for over $1000L each.. On the other hand, I'll relist them all for $500 L a piece, which is the price point for a quick sale, for a $350 profit each. Of course those same greedy flippers will now pay $500 L for mine, to also relist for a grand.

Pennies I know, but it beats hanging on a dance pole begging for tips from losers

p.s. I used to post about this all the time in the Second Life forums. It was always guaranteed to rile up the regulars. Some actually acted like I was responsible for all the blight on mainland.

I've flipped a lot of micro parcels, and I don't have to worry about making tier, because its just excess tier anyway. I am back up to about 25 16s now, I'll sell them as I see fit.

I only deal in 2x protected parcels, because they can't be blocked. Two sides are in clear view from the road

Checked inworld land for sale this morning, all those parcels are back on the market for prices ranging from 795 to 1200 L.
So, decisions, decisions, hold on to them or list them now for 500. They will be the cheapest, so they will go first, and fast.
If all the ones for sale now sell fast, then 500 is too low, and I'll sell them all for 750 or maybe a thousand.
In the meantime, up go my ad boards.

Advertising on random mainland parcels is a waste of your time, L$ and tier. If you REALLY want to promote your business, maybe you should try taking the political stuff out of your profile and actually using your profile to promote your businesses. Maybe you should also be using classifieds.

you're wasting your time with this. You'd make more L$ making things to sell. It would even be better to just hit the buy L$ button than wasting your time with microparcels.

You contribute to the blight, which is not helping. Just because you "can" do something, doesn't mean you "should". Yes, I know, you're a reflexive contrarian and no one is going to tell you what to do even if what you're doing isn't effective and a waste of your time and L$.

Why should anyone want to hang out at your places? Are your places good advertisements for your services that you're trying to sell?

<edit added> Lets see, it take a minute to find and buy a parcel, then another minute to list it for sale. if I sell it for 1 k, that's a profit of 850 L for 2 minutes work. I don't even make that rate on the rare occasions I'm hooking
