I've watched numerous videos of play through from creators who received early early access to inZoi, so I'm familiar with the general outlines of this simulation game. To my disappointment, my (brand new) computer meets minimum standards only, so I'm wary of trying it out. It strikes me as a game where "minimum" would be painful, and I'm not willing to gamble the cost of the game to find out for sure.
Realistic life simulator inZOI with high PC requirements. Devs prepared extensive explanations
I expected an uncanny valley effect, but the entire world is so realistic that the zois (aka sims) don't feel out of place. It's that very realism that I find both amazing and somewhat unappealing all at the same time. The gameplay is quite earnestly realistic, and completely lacking the kind of quirky, silly outlandishness that I find so endearing about sims. I'm impressed, yet it left me cold.
For me, this looks like Second Life without real people, just automatons. So somewhat creepy, like a Twilight Zone episode. This may be because I don't play other games at all, so I'm just not accustomed to realism at all. In that way, mine is probably a very minority reaction to the effects.
