It'd be bloody nice if the Ignore function offered some granularity - ignore posts/reactions/PMs from a user while not hiding threads they started - or any combination of said settings.

I'd be happy if my setting someone on ignore made them unable to read my posts as well, personally.

Once you've placed someone on Ignore that ought to be the end of it: Unless you get curious there is no need whatsoever to have them take up any more mental space.
