Meanwhile, there hasn't been a single conservative gun nut yet who has decried Hunter's conviction with "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!" Not a one. That pretty telling.
What's even more telling is that they didn't give a shit about Philando Castile. Phil wasn't in politics, but was obviously the wrong color to ammosexuals.

When Jesus wrote the 2nd Amendment and put it in the Declaration of INDEPENDENCE he wasn't talking about woke libtards, okay?

Hunter Biden uses Trump classified docs ruling in dismissal of cases request
Hunter Biden's legal team has requested the dismissal of cases against him in Delaware and California citing the "unconstitutional" appointment of special counsel David Weiss.

Judge Aileen Cannon, the heavily scrutinized judge handling former President Trump's federal classified documents case in Florida, dismissed Trump's indictment Monday using the same justification as Biden's attorneys: the unconstitutional appointment of the investigation's special counsel.

Bingo. This is exactly my reasoning. Had the GOP not pursued him for rhetorical/political points, he would have served a suspended sentence and be out of trouble by now, anyway.
Besides ... SECOND MENMENT!

right.. the thing is, he IS guilty, but the punishment didn't fit the crime. He committed misdemeanors as a private citizen. This was only of interest to congress for political points. It was a complete waste of time and energy.

His crime -- such as it was -- was answering "no" to question "f" on the form one fills out to purchase a handgun, Form 4473.

Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance? Warning: The use or possession of marijuana remains unlawful under Federal law regardless of whether it has been legalized or decriminalized for medicinal or recreational purposes in the state where you reside.
Based on known statistics of how many people consume weed -- 100% of them unlawfully according to Federal law -- we know somewhere between 15,000,000 and 25,000,000 people lied their asses off on that question last year. (And the year before. And the year before that, etc.) That's just weed. If you really believe no meth heads, coke heads, junkies, or pill poppers "legally" purchased firearms last year by lying on that form, I have a bargain on some beachfront property in Florida I'd like to talk with you about.

Guess how many were prosecuted for it as a stand-alone crime? Did you guess zero? Wrong! The answer is one; Hunter Biden.

There were two others in the last few years, both of whom were charged as part of a large drug conspiracy.

Besides, there's no definition of "user" there. I might have had some weed last week. I might have some next week. At the moment, though, I guess I'm not a "user of, or addicted to, marijuana."

wasn't he also guilty of misdemeanor tax fraud? ....which also likely just means he has to pay back what he owes, but they made a really big deal out of it.
