When I first saw the headline, I thought, pagers? Pagers? In 2024? And as i read the story, I thought, man, that requires a very high degree of sophistication, not to mention knowledge of where Hezbollah were going to buy all their pagers. This is all really weird.

When I first saw the headline, I thought, pagers? Pagers? In 2024? And as i read the story, I thought, man, that requires a very high degree of sophistication, not to mention knowledge of where Hezbollah were going to buy all their pagers. This is all really weird.

Yes, it requires much skill and organisation behind it, but is totally doable for an intelligence agency. I mean the US do have TAO (Tailored Access Operations) within NSA, which is adding/modifying stock router/networking hardware with some snooping parts on its way from the company to their customers, so why should Mossad not be able to replicate that?

Maybe TAO was giving some helping hands, who knows.

That Israel is quite good at cyberwarfare is a well known fact since they've created Stuxnet with a little help of NSA as well.

I get that the IDF wants to get anyone that is helping Hamas and related groups, but this is still monstrously foolish for them to do. This will escalate the war and help groups like that recruit. The far right that is in control of Israel thinks they can fight the whole world if they have to. Netanyahu can't go away fast enough.

Despite Berry clearly stating she does not support Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran, the senator persisted in his line of questioning. He accused Berry of being unable to clearly state that she did not back these groups and said, "You should hide your head in a bag."
