So, breif thing - someone bought some jewelry I made a long time ago for a body addon that is no longer available. I was asked if I could replace with unrigged or rigged for a different body - I was going to unrig first, thinking it would be easier, and now I'm just trying to figure it out because stubborn.

Looking online and all I get is how to -rig- which I know how to do.

So, any halp would be lovely, even if its a 'it cannot be done'

Reupload and don’t click the skin weights box.
Except I need to break the mesh in half because its jewelry - rigged, it didn't matter, but unrigged? it has to be.

[I know about that method, its just it won't work for this, but when I just strip the modifiers and such, I get an error on upload]

So like ear rings?

You may need to break it up in Blender or Maya or whichever you use. (Or find someone to do that.) It will be separate uploads for each part then.

I might try deleting everything else in that file and see if that does it. I don't mind uploading it seperately [did try that too] but I get a lod parent not found error, and what little I found I tried, but it doesn't help.

Worse comes to worse, I'll just rebuild the mesh from scratch. Was eventually going to update older things anyway, because I've gotten better over the years, even if I've not really been releasing much.
