My brother was born on Halloween. My mom needed a cesarean for his birth. It was scheduled for November 1. The cutoff date for when children entered school was also November 1. She asked the doctor if she could have him a day early (Halloween) so he could go to school a year earlier which he did.

Halloween is my favorite holiday.
