The working homeless do exist. They just have to be more creative about their accommodations.
Yes, a lot of homeless have low paying jobs. It's nothing new, sadly. Even if a homeless person suddenly lands a high paying job, they might have trouble getting housing until they have some savings. Even with some savings, they might have trouble getting an apartment or something due to a criminal record and no credit.

The homelessness does not really explain the pantslessness in this particular situation ...

Florida man? Time for a fearless Florida MOM!

Florida mom arrested for saying ‘Delay Deny Depose’ on call with BlueCross BlueShield health insurer: ‘You people are next’

Briana Boston, 42, was arrested at her Lakeland. Fla., home on Tuesday after allegedly making threats on a call to BlueCross BlueShield regarding the denial of a recent medical insurance claim, WFLA reported.

Boston ended the recorded conversation with the company rep by saying “Delay, deny, depose. You people are next,” Lakeland Police said, according to the local outlet.

Briana Boston, 42, was arrested by Lakeland Police after allegedly making a threat on a call with an
insurance company and is being held on $100,000 bail.

Detectives with the Lakeland Police later showed up at Boston’s home and questioned her about the phone conversation with the insurance giant.

The mother of three then told cops that “healthcare companies played games and deserved karma from the world because they are evil.”

I don't understand how they can call this a real threat, she was obviously frustrated, but seriously, can they really put someone in prison for this?

What jury of twelve of her peers is going to unanimously convict her?

I guess I just can't understand why she was arrested. What she said was not a direct threat, she never said, "I'm going to kill you". Subtlety implying that someone deserves to die is not the same. When I get calls from scammers I tell them that they are the next one on the Beekeeper's list. Is that a threat?

As to what jury would convict her? I dunno, it's Floriduh, which is like some weird scrambled universe where anything can happen, but mostly happens when people are naked. :bunny:
