Florida man breaks into restaurant, strips naked, eats noodles, plays bongos

Petersburg police officer was investigating a break-in at The Chattaway restaurant, reviewing surveillance video that shows a burglar eating a plate of chicken wings and drinking a beer inside the kitchen on November 6. The officer then stumbled across another incident from the night before.

That video shows a different man riding his bike up to the restaurant at 358 22nd Ave S, pedaling around the parking lot for 10 minutes, then slipping in through the back gate. He opens the door to a shed after wandering around for a bit, and removes a set of bongos.

Then the man gains access to a restaurant bathroom and exits, naked. He sits at one of the restaurant's picnic tables and digs into a bowl of instant Ramen noodles, which he brought with him. The video also shows him playing the bongos, still naked.

Julmeus told his son, whose age was redacted in the affidavit, to pack a duffel bag after he allegedly found male pornography videos on his cellphone, according to what the affidavit said the victim told police. Court records said Julmeus “became very upset” after he found the videos.

Haines City police told Fox News the boy is a pre-teen.

A bystander who witnessed the event called police. An officer dispatched to the location said the victim was very upset and crying, according to court records.
The victim told police that his father told him to pack a bag and that he was taking him to the police department where they would find him a new home, court records said.

Julmeus made his son get out of the vehicle while sitting in a turn lane on a Florida highway and then drove off, according to court records, which added that his father did not try to contact law enforcement to tell them he had dropped off his son.
