Keep posting about it, I'll keep reading and someday it will reach the point where it's easier to install and I'll be ready!
Supposedly Oculus games work through Vridge using Revive, but I've not tried it yet. Most of my VR titles are actually on the Oculus side as I hate SteamVR. Lone Echo currently does not work with Revive.I'm waiting for them to come out of beta. The one who makes VRidge apparently wants to put it on the Oculus Store when it's fully released. Too bad I can't play the Oculus games on the PC Oculus client using the Quest. I only have the one game that's not on the Quest, Lone Echo.
The reason for the push to allow a night mode is so that it can be used while lying in bed in the dark to watch things on it. It's not a forced mode.I've already used Quest in low-light rooms (usually by accident) and it worked better than I would expect, so I really don't feel a need for lights-out mode. I hope it's a setting that can be controlled, rather than something kicked on automatically, because 3dof tracking does not sound appealing.
No - I don't think it would work too well since it is a keyboard/mouse game. I have played a few games that use a controller and they work well, but I'm not sure how non-gamepad games would work.Hey Cristiano -- Is it possible to play Sims 4 on the Quest, using the Virtual Desktop? That could be a lot of fun, the more I think about it.
That will be a nice feature - there were some decent Oculus Go apps that have not been made for Quest.
