Summerset is the latest DLC and along with that a recently held community event has succeeded. Everyone that owns Summerset and logs in before Sunday, October 7 at 8:00PM EDT. will receive the mount, pet and house. I assume this is owning something in addition to core? I bought core but found several things I did not like so have not launched it in awhile.

Just how much space does ESO take? I was at ~75G and it wanted to download a ~50G patch.

My fully patched game as of today stands at 70 gb approximately:



ESO patching has always been massive for some reason, but it doesn't dramatically increase in size unless there's a new expansion.

Thanks, it may be that the download on steam wasn't sufficiently up to date.

Some of the things they did were like 'why'. Like not having an option to remember login details (fine for a cybercafe, but if someone breaks into my home my game credentials are not high on my priority list). Or not being able to turn (you can strafe) with a keyboard .... the code is there since you can do it with a mouse. I am sure there was much more in the game but those were enough to have me asking why I paid money for it.
