Devin's Mom account might have a harder time, depending on whether or not some might have reasonably believed it was his mother.The weird thing is, I don't care how this lawsuit goes. If Nunes loses then LOL; if Twitter loses then they'll be forced to curb targeted personal abuse on their platform, which is worth sacrificing parody accounts of real people IMO.
Twitter is pickier than normal there. Note that real relatives can be like that, e.g. George Conway.
I've seen obvious parody accounts post notices they've gotten from Twitter showing that they saw nothing wrong with posts reported.
I've also seen them kill parody accounts that were obviously parody only if you spent a little time reading and realizing, such as a fake Rod Rosenstein account that was heavily political, not obviously parody until you read enough to see it's too political (mostly sarcastic) for an unbiased DOJ top brass to be publishing.
