I'd just like to point out that those are donkeys & not mules. Mules are made by breeding a female horse (mare) to a male donkey (jack). Love the story about the donkeys being nannies to the lambs!

Portree itself really is bucket listworthy and it's a stone's throw from the wonderful castle at Donan. I strongly recommend the trip to this neck of the woods.
