This one was a special place. It was in a block of apartments on a parcel called Nightfire. At a time when I didn't have a home nor did I have two Lindens to rub together, I found a place whose rent was only L$1 a week. Seriously! I couldn't believe it either and managed to snatch the last one.

The trade-off? Well, it was totally unfurnished (pretty much a box with a door) and you only had a 10 prim allowance - and this was before long mesh. I learned the hard way that the only thing you could do to get a decent look was to make everything yourself, using every dirty building trick you could. Mine finally came in a 9 prims, mostly from using custom textures and sculpties (which were the big thing, then)

The whole thing has ~450 LI, which I've reached with lots of linking trickery (The whole thing is about 5 linksets plus a few individual objects - mostly the sitting spots) and tweakin physics. It also allows me to carry the entire thing as a single coalesced object in inventory

i've updated my Sky house back in Nov/dec.
i have about 700 Prims to play with. i'm still trying to tweak around to make more room. as i can't even put my doggie down.

I have a Play Area below my house and at Ground Level a Stargate using Opengates system. MY neighbors seem to be some sort of skyraider type group with flying machines so i tried to match thier theme on ground. This is all Mainland...

since i'm mostly an evening US person i let two European friends live with me. i'm not there half the time anyway.... And if i am There i'm in my room with shopping bags all over.

It took me 9 months to get a houseboat in Bellisseria, but I finally got one just before Christmas. It's called "Matti's Big Gay Boat".

I've added some partitions to section off the kitchen and bathroom, neither of which are interesting enough to post pics of.

Well I decided to give the new log cabins a try, so I traded in my houseboat and got one. Really liking this. I chose the Grand View; I love that big front window.

From the living room, and through to the kitchen/dining room at the back. The little side room is now a rather large bathroom, and the bedroom is upstairs. Not done much with that yet, and I still have work to do on the garden. But I've been busy in my RL garden today.

I moved to another spot because at my house boat at Mando Coast it was very difficult to manouvre my boat.
The houseboat was very close to the edge of the sim.

I have a skybox floating way over my club's plot. Basically a bedroom used as a dressing room and quiet space. Over time I've added a number of items to make it appear homey, but today I felt the need for a revamp, spent a few linden on a new bed and accessory furniture (Moss & Luna), pulled out some select pieces languishing in inventory, and now I kind of like it. Sort of feels like me.

I even laid down a new floor. (PBR!) So shiny.

The other side of the room hasn't had much done. I filled in the pool (a pool in my bedroom?!), set down tile, and dropped a few pieces in. But this section remains uninspired. So far. How do you like my transparent ceiling?

Update on the home skybox renovation. Just some small additions to this area.

You see part of one big addition here, the Reclaimed Display Shelving from Trompe Loeil. I saw it at one of the Collabor88 events and knew I'd find a spot for it.

Real change is to the South facing side. Pulled up the pool and filled out the space.

Also, up those stairs you'll find a small landing point room...

And outside along the East side of the skybox, I've even put out a lawn. Of sorts.
