A professional version of Bumblebee walked up and looked down at me in Las Vegas a few years ago. I said sorry and stepped out of the way to let him pass. He nodded, played a "thank you" from some song, and continued down the sidewalk. It was almost as surreal as trading nods with Emperor Palpatine in an empty theatre hallway. He was gone when I realized and looked behind me so it seemed I had hallucinated. But then there were cosplayers setting up a display in the lobby which brought great relief to my brainpan.
