I have a cat who has never been much of a jumper, but I'm pretty sure she's mostly forest cat - when she was younger she could climb marvelously - now she's just a little old lady in my chair [or her chair.... I haven't sat in it for months.

That poor cat.

Ours regularly does a vertical 6 foot jump to the bathroom window without even disturbing the bathmat.
Yurei would routinely make jumps from the kitchen floor onto the top of the fridge then go inside the cabinet above it for naps... Once that was shut down by a cranky mama cat who got tired of hunting for him, he took to jumping on top of my china cabinet which is about a foot taller than the fridge. He also loved to leap up in doorways, sink his claws into the molding at the top, hang there meowing before dropping down, racing to the other side of the house and using the door frame there... rinse, repeat >.< At last he only did at daytime.
