The Tenaja Fire near Murrieta in Riverside County continues to be held at approximately 2,000 acres as firefighters increase containment to 40 percent this afternoon. Full containment is expected Tuesday.

The Red Bank Fire west of Red Bluff in Tehama County has grown to 8,838 acres. Mandatory evacuations remain in effect, but so far no structures have been damaged. Containment has increased to 15 percent. Cause of the fire has been determined to be lightning.
As of Saturday evening, the Red Bank Fire in Tehama County is now burning at 8,838 acres in size with 15 percent containment, Cal Fire said.

The Walker Fire burning in Plumas County south of Susanville has grown to 24,040 acres. Mandatory evacuations remain in effect; however, no structures have been reported damaged. Smoke from the fire can be seen as far away as Reno, NV. Containment is reported at five percent.
The Walker Fire burning in the Plumas National Forest has grown to 53,186 acres and is 95% contained.
