I can't stop looking at the flag in the background. Who in his family served? That has to be decorative.Already forgotten.

Trump Organization CFO is negotiating a guilty plea to fraud, sources tell NPR. : NPR
MAKE SECOND LIFE GREAT AGAIN!I sent you L1. You aren't a grifter are you?
That Deep State appears intent on keeping the wealthy and powerful wealthy and powerful, without the dramatic ending involving guillotines. Some bread, some circuses, some long term planning. You know something.
Even if the hypothetical "deep state" run by Clinton and Obama and Soros of who the fuck ever was real, I feel like I would much rather have that Deep State in charge, instead of the Stupid Deep State tun by tht dumbfuck Trump and his idiot cult.
I've heard that, along with his personal (blue) passport, he had his presidential (red) passport and his diplomatic (black) passport. Those are probably the ones that are expired, though I think he should have been required to turn them in when he left office. Why did Dump have 3 passports? I thought when you renewed your passport you turned your expired on in?
She's still an asshole even if she said orangey didn't win. Here's just one of many examples.
Oh, absolutely. But I hold a small kernel of respect for her for standing up to Trump and his ilk, knowing it would cost her her political career, when it absolutely counted. She's still an asshole even if she said orangey didn't win. Here's just one of many examples.
In that event, she'd be drawing support from three different constituencies of Republican-leaning voter -- those who would otherwise have reluctantly voted for Trump, those who would otherwise have reluctantly voted for the Democratic candidate, presumably Biden, to keep Trump out, and those who would otherwise have not have been able to bring themselves to vote for either candidate.Prediction - if Trump runs again, Cheney will run as an independent and split the Republican vote.
I never heard a word of protest from him or his minions about law enforcement raids when they raided Breana Taylor's home. When officers knowingly included false information in an affidavit to justify the raid and then began the raid by blindly firing into her apartment from outside, ultimately busting down the door and murdering Ms Taylor. THAT MR. TRUMP is a fucking raid.
I suspect he's mostly pissed off because they grabbed a bunch of sandwiches on their way out.
The writer of this article doesn't think moral principle has anything to do with it.Oh, absolutely. But I hold a small kernel of respect for her for standing up to Trump and his ilk, knowing it would cost her her political career, when it absolutely counted.
Liz Cheney’s own political predicament is a function of her own political miscalculations. Cheney, like many in both parties, sensed that Trump would lose in 2020, House Republicans would lose seats, and a reckoning would give an opportunity for her wing of the party to rise again. She spent 2020 positioning herself against Trump. After she publicly defended Trump nemesis Dr. Anthony Fauci, Rep. Matt Gaetz pushed to have her removed from leadership. She held on, and drew the battle lines sharper over the next year.
Her calculation that Trump would lose panned out, but Trump managed to draw out millions of new voters, and House Republicans picked up seats instead of losing them. Trump’s hold on the party was secure, even as he incited a mob to ransack the Capitol.
Cheney wasn’t wrong to condemn the incitement and the assault on the Capitol, but doing so was the only option left to her. None of this is about principle.
I'm inclined to believe this. Cheney voted for Trump and supported Trump long after his complete and total incompetence and corruption was obvious. She put party before principle until it was no longer convenient to do so.Cheney wasn’t wrong to condemn the incitement and the assault on the Capitol, but doing so was the only option left to her. None of this is about principle. The writer of this article doesn't think moral principle has anything to do with it.
She has that "psychpath stare" down.
